A simple, consistent way we show up.

Living Love Lunches began with a small group preparing meals for neighbors in Chester. Today, the ministry shares more than 6,000 lunches each year.

Each lunch is simple—a sandwich, fruit, and a snack—but it carries something more: care, consistency, and the reminder that no one is forgotten.

More Than a Meal

Food brings us together, but the meal is not the destination. The community is.

Living Love is about showing up regularly, building trust, and creating space for conversation and connection. Over time, familiar faces become friends and a meal becomes a place of belonging.

How It Works

Lunches are prepared and delivered to neighbors in Chester several times each month.

Some are packed together after worship. Others are prepared at home and brought to Holy Trinity for delivery. This shared rhythm allows many people to participate in ways that fit their lives.

How You Can Be Part of It

There are many ways to participate:

  • pack lunches after worship
  • prepare lunches at home
  • donate food, supplies, or financial support
  • help with deliveries
  • prepare, serve, or clean up after a hot meal
  • join us in Chester for conversation, hospitality, and friendship

There’s no one way to participate—just space to step in.

Hot Meals & Hospitality

Living Love is growing to include a monthly hot-meal gathering—a chance to sit together, share conversation, and deepen the relationships that have developed through the lunch ministry.

It is another step toward creating a community where everyone is known, welcomed, and valued.

When It Happens
Wednesdays and Sundays
Living Love shares lunches in Chester on scheduled Sundays and Wednesdays. Sunday lunch packing takes place after worship. For Wednesday deliveries, lunches prepared at home may be dropped off at Holy Trinity on Tuesday or Wednesday by 2:00 PM. On the fourth Sunday, we gather in Chester for a shared meal and conversation. Contact us for current dates or to get involved.
